I've been refocused to play chess again. I play on chess.com. Currently, I'm just playing bots... Which for me right now, is a plenty good challenge. I burned through the beginner bots and can beat them regularly. The intermediate bots I can usually beat Maria (1000), Sven (1100) and Nelson (1300)... Although Nelson is hit and miss. I tried Wendy (1500) at advanced and loss and drew her... So I figure I'm somewhere between 1300 and 1500...Wonder if one day the advanced bots will feel like the beginner bots. I think that day is well into the future... I wonder how long until I beat an Advanced bot. Enjoying it quite a bit...
Made Chicken Tikka Masala today. We haven't had it in ages...But califlower was on sale so... it makes for a yummy dinner...
It has been pretty cold this week... Our furnance plays this wonderful game where it stops working on the most blustery days...It has typically come back on at some point, but, wow, houses are ineffeicently built... within a few hours we drop from 68 to 63... it has even got into the high 50s...Sigh....
