Sometimes in sport the better team doesn't win. It was the case in the Gold Medal hockey final for sure... Canada did everything but beat Hellebuyck...Outshot, outchanced but couldn't outscore the US. Canada had so many missed Grade A chances... It could have been 4 or 5 goals... missed breakaways, missed open nets, pucks rolling inches from the post...the effort and skill was apparent, but, alas, today, not the finish. And getting the game to 3 on 3 OT is a crap shoot... It is the first mistake loses. This happens often in the Olympics. Teams can hang around and defend it seems forever... Oh well... Canada played a great game but came up a little short...
Oh, and it has to said, that disastrous 5 on 3 was another missed opportunity.
We've started watching The Pitt. It is very good. Great acting. Great script. Interesting situations...Even some humour.
Winter Olympics ended. ๐จ๐ฆ Canada did well for ~40M (but Norway ๐ณ๐ด ... jez..41 medals!) medals: 5 ๐ฅ 7 ๐ฅ 9 ๐ฅ!
